Sport & Activities Ukrainians go skiing in the Carpathian Mountains in the west, where top resorts are in Vorokhta and Yeremcha near the Romanian border, and Slavsko, close to the Slovak Republic. The most popular spectator sport is football, although successes in the international arena for Oksana Baiul, Andrei Medvedev and Sergei Bubka have attracted many to figure skating, tennis and athletics. |
