Currency
Netherlands Antilles Guilder or Florin (ANG) = 100 cents. Notes are in denominations of ANG250, 100, 50, 25, 10 and 5. Coins are in denominations of ANG5 and 1, and 50, 25, 10, 5 and 1 cents. There are also a large number of commemorative coins which are legal tender. US Dollars are widely accepted, and prices are usually quoted in both Dollars and Guilders.

Currency exchange
All major currencies can be exchanged at banks on the island.

Credit & debit cards
All major credit cards are widely accepted.

Travellers cheques
Widely accepted. To avoid additional exchange rate charges, travellers are advised to take travellers cheques in US Dollars.

Currency restrictions
There are no restrictions on the import and export of local or foreign currency, except the import and export of amounts of foreign currency exceeding NAG20,000 must be declared. The import of Dutch or Surinam silver coins is prohibited.

Banking hours
Mon-Fri 0830-1130 and 1330-1630. Some banks are also open on Saturday.
