Travel - Internal Rail There are just over 5km (3 miles) of railway to serve the phosphate mining area. Road A sealed road, 19km (12 miles) long, circles the island and there are several miles of road running inland to Buada District and the phosphate areas. Traffic drives on the left. The island speed limit is 50kmph (30 mph). Bus: Buses run from the hotels. Car hire: This is available. Documentation: A national driving licence will suffice. |
