Transfer between Terminals
The two terminals are linked by a covered pedestrian walkway.

Information desks are centrally located in both terminals (tel: 510 563 2721).

Airport Facilities
Money and communications: ATMs, fax and data port services and post boxes are available in both terminals. Eating and drinking: The airport has restaurants, coffee shops, snack bars and bars in both terminals. Shopping: There are shops in both terminals; duty-free is available in Terminal 1. Luggage: A lost property service is available in Terminal 1 (tel: 510 577 4095). There is a left-luggage office in Terminal 1. Other facilities: A paramedic service is available in the case of an emergency.

Disabled Facilities
Lifts and ramps are available where necessary; passengers requiring wheelchairs should contact their airline in advance. Disabled parking is available in both hourly and daily car parks. AirBART and AC Transit buses (website: www.actransit.org), as well as Bay Area Rapid Transit (BART) rail stations (website: www.bart.gov) are fully wheelchair-accessible.

Conference and Business Facilities
There are full-service Laptop Lane business centres at the airport located in Terminal 1 at gate 9 (tel: 510 969 3580) and in Terminal 2 at gate 20 (tel: 510 969 3570). The nearby Hilton Oakland Airport (tel: 510 635 5000) offers a full-service business centre and facilities ranging from small boardrooms to a theatre-style venue that can accommodate up to 810 people; high-speed Internet connections are available; a courtesy shuttle bus serves the airport.

Car Hire
Avis, Budget, Dollar, Enterprise, Fox, Hertz, National and Thrifty are represented. Shuttles provide transport from the terminals to the rental car centre and there are telephones in the Arrivals areas of both terminals to arrange transport.

Car Parking
The airport provides hourly, daily, economy and valet car parking facilities. A moving walkway and free shuttle buses link the two terminals and car parks.

Driving Directions
From I-880 North or South, follow the exit signs on 98th Avenue or Hegenberger Road to the airport entrance. 98th Avenue is the main airport entrance.

Public Transport
Water: For travel by ferry, AC Transit’s line no.58 bus connects Jack London Square and the Alameda/Oakland Ferry to Oakland International Airport. The ferry (website: www.eastbayferry.com) provides services to Alameda, San Francisco’s Ferry Terminal and Pier 39/Fisherman’s Wharf. Rail: AC Transit’s line no.58 bus connects the Amtrak Station at Jack London Square to Oakland International Airport. Road: Taxi: Taxis are readily available from Veteran’s Cab and Friendly Cab; regional shuttle services are also available to most destinations, including scheduled and door-to-door services. Bus: AirBART and AC Transit (website: www.actransit.org) buses run between the airport and the BART Oakland Coliseum rail station, for connections to BART services. Line N runs an hourly service at night between the airport and downtown Oakland and downtown San Francisco. Further ground transportation information is available (tel: 888 435 9625).
