The Albuquerque Convention and Visitors Bureau information booth is located in the baggage reclaim area, on the ground level of the terminal building.

Money and communications: ATMs are located throughout the terminal building. Eating and drinking: The airport has a variety of fast-food outlets, as well as restaurants, coffee shops, bars and cocktail lounges. A food court is situated in the A/B Connector Area, offering Mexican cuisine, a microbrewery, pizzeria, ice-cream parlour and gourmet deli and bakery. Shopping: There are gift shops, speciality stores, newsagents and gift carts located throughout the airport. Other facilities: There are shoeshine stands and a barbershop.

Braille signage, wheelchair-accessible toilets, drinking fountains and TDDs and disabled parking are all provided. Lifts connect all levels of the terminal building and multi-storey car park. Shuttle vans from the car rental center are wheelchair-accessible.

The on-site Wyndham Albuquerque Hotel (tel: 505 843 7000; website: www.wyndhamalbuquerque.com) has a fully equipped business centre. Two meeting rooms accommodating up to 55 delegates can be booked at AmeriSuites (tel: 505 242 9300; e-mail: locak@primehospitality.com), which is situated at 1400 Sunport Place SE, 2km (1 mile) from the airport.

Advantage, Alamo, Avis, Budget Rent-a-Car of New Mexico, Dollar, Enterprise, Hertz, National and Thrifty are all represented. Offices are at the Sunport Car Rental Center, 0.8km (0.5 miles) west of the passenger terminal building at 3400 University Boulevard SE; shuttles transport car hire customers between the facility and the terminal building.

A four-storey car park located next to the terminal provides space for 3,400 cars. There is also a short-term covered car park and a long-term surface car park providing a further 500 spaces. Take I-25 south to the Sunport Boulevard exit (exit 221) and go east on Sunport Boulevard to the front of the terminal. Alternatively, drive south on I-25 to the Gibson Boulevard exit (exit 222A), go east on Gibson Boulevard and drive south on Yale Boulevard.

Limousine: There are five limousine companies at the airport; American Limousine (tel: 505 877 7576) operates daily 24 hours. Bus: Door-to-door shuttle services are operated by Airport Shuttle (tel: 5050 765 1234) and Sunport Shuttle (tel: 505 883 4966). Shuttle services to Santa Fe are also available from Sandia Shuttle Express (tel: 505 243 3244) and Santa Fe Shuttle (tel: 505 243 2300). A local bus service is operated by Sun Trans Bus (tel: 505 843 9200; website: www.cabq.gov/transit); bus no.50 serves downtown Albuquerque. A number of long-distance, charter and tour buses are run by various companies; the airport’s website has details on all companies operating to/from the airport.
