Information and Help Desks
Information desks can be found in Departures, Arrivals and at the Dsseldorf Airport Rail Station. The main information desk is located next to belt 6 in central Arrivals. Passengers can also phone the airport for information (tel: (0)211 4210).

Airport Facilities
Money and communications: Two banks are located on the Departures level, and one on the Arrivals level. ATMs and public telephones can be found throughout the airport and at the Dsseldorf Airport Rail Station. Eating and drinking: There are many bars, cafs and restaurants at the airport. Shopping: Shops are open from early morning until late at night, seven days a week. A shopping service is available through Apcoa Autoparking (tel: (0)211 421 6637; website: www.apcoa.de). Luggage: Porters are available (tel: (0)211 421 6888 or 6637). Left-luggage and a lost and found service are available on the first floor of car park 3 (tel: (0)211 421 2515). Other facilities: The airport has first aid and baby change facilities, as well as a non-denominational prayer room.

Disabled Facilities
The airport provides physically accessible facilities for disabled passengers, with the exception of the duty-free shop in Departures concourse C; wheelchairs are available on request. Passengers with disabilities are requested to inform their airline in advance of their requirements and register with the airport Passenger Care service (tel: (0)211 4213 8030). Drivers displaying disability ID can park in any car park for free. The SkyTrain is wheelchair accessible.

Conference and Business Facilities
The Steigenberger Conferencepoint (tel: (0)211 496 230) has 24 fully equipped conference rooms, which can hold up to 250 people. The Arabella Sheraton Airport Hotel (tel: (0)211 417 3719 or 417 3720) also offers conference rooms for up to 230 people. There are many business lounges, including the VIP Lounge, which is used for travellers taking advantage of the airport’s VIP service (tel: (0)211 421 2346).

Car Hire
Car hire companies include Avis, Budget, Europcar, Hertz, National and Sixt. Desks are located in the central Arrivals hall.

Car Parking
There are numerous car parks available with direct access to the terminals, but reservations for long-term parking are limited to car park 2. Car park 4 is connected to the terminal via the SkyTrain (journey time: 2 minutes), while the first 15 minutes of parking in the underground car park P1 are free. Valet parking is also available. Driving Directions
The A44 autobahn runs east-west past the airport with a dedicated exit, signed ‘Flughafen’. The A44 connects to the A52 north and the A3 north-south.

Public Transport
Rail: Train: Over 350 trains a day stop at the Dsseldorf Airport Rail Station, including regional, express, intercity and high-speed InterCity Express (ICE) trains travelling between the airport and a number of destinations in Germany. The SkyTrain connects the railway station and the terminal building. Underground: The S7 S-Bahn train connects the airport and Solingen-Ohligs. Road: Taxi: Taxis leave from in front of central Arrivals. Bus: The bus station is located in front of central Arrivals with a good selection of regional services. Bus no.760 runs regularly to Ratingen Ost, bus no.072 to the main train station in Krefeld, bus no.721 runs to Tannenhof via Dsseldorf central station, and the Airport Aixpress runs to Aachen bus station. A second bus station is situated at the Dsseldorf Airport Rail Station.
